We were able to catch up with old friends and members, as well as meet a lot of new people. For the ORHA, that is really what this event is all about – meeting new people; showcasing reining to the public; educating them on the horses, maneuvers and rules; and sharing our passion for the sport. Hopefully a little of our excitement rubbed off and they will try reining for themselves. Maybe we just met some future members.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1853″ img_size=”300″ alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_rounded” onclick=”link_image”][vc_column_text]From the planning to the manning, there is a lot of time and effort that goes into the ORHA booth. I would like to personally thank Mike Munroe, Leona McAtee, Janna Imrie, Janette Drinkwalter, Becky Ros and Sam Munroe for the hard work and time they put in to this years Can-Am. The ORHA is an organization of volunteers; your help is what make it all happen. Thank You so much![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Keeping with tradition, the ORHA held a Can-Am raffle with the Grand Prizes of a 2017 ORHA Membership, awarded to Christy Lapins and Free Reining Lesson with Loris Epis of Epis Performance Horses, award to Pat Grochowina. Other prizes included an OBBO hoodie, an OBBO t-shirt, an ORHA t-shirt, ORHA vests, ORHA mugs and Kubota Canada ball caps. Thank you to all those who  donated to the raffle, we couldn’t do it without you! This year there was even more ways to win as the ORHA had an early membership promotion; giving a Can-Am Raffle ticket to each membership receive before to March 30 as well as any membership received at the Can-Am booth.
