What is the ORHyA Varsity Team?
The youth varsity team is made up of ORHA youth members age 18 and under (18 as of January 1st). Who throughout the reining season host fundraiser and accumulate volunteer hours.
What do these fundraiser raise money for?
The funds raised go back to the youth varsity team, for their year end awards as well as team swag, and their Christmas party and/or other gatherings.
These Year End Awards also come accompanied with scholarships, that may be paid out to the university or secondary education in which you attend, usually once you graduate from the program.
The scholarship amount is based on each years fundraising efforts.
In order to be eligible for scholarships and awards, you must participate in the varsity teams fundraising and complete volunteer hours for that calendar year.
Being apart of ORHA youth team is an excellent opportunity to meet life long friends and develop key life and social skills all while enjoying the sport that we all love.
